Resistance train your brain

Resistance train your brain

Self improvement ain't easy.

If it were, a lot more people would do it.

But the simple reality is that most people simply don't and won't, for the most part.

They'll just keep living out their dysfunctional patterns by default for most of their lives, with some of them realizing in their latter years how much they need to change.

It's just a select few who really, deeply, truly work on themselves.

Like you.

You wouldn't be reading this if you weren't the kind of person who cares about their growth.

And if there's one thing I've learned about growth...

It's that it's uncomfortable.

And our brains are biologically wired to avoid discomfort, so they naturally feel resistance towards this process of introspection and personal growth. But just like a muscle in the gym requires resistance to grow, so too is that internal resistance completely necessary for our growth. And again, like a muscle in the gym, the more we do it the easier that weight is to lift...

So wherever you're feeling discomfort.

Wherever it is you don't want to look.

Whatever change you need to be making.

Lean into that resistance, because on the other side of it is the growth you've been waiting for, hoping for, and working towards.

Reminds me of how when I was first getting super real with myself about the changes I needed to make, I felt a massive amount of resistance around the idea of letting porn go. I had become to accustomed to it being part of my lifestyle. A way to relax, a way to enjoy myself, a way to blow off some steam. But the more I learned about the way it ruins a man's dopamine reward center and causes a condition called Hypofrontality, the more clear it became that it was completely ruining my energy levels, focus, motivation, self-confidence, bedroom time with real women, and hamstringing my decision-making and impulse control creating a vicious cycle that was slowly spiraling downwards.

I had to lean into it.

It really wasn't an option if I was going to become who I wanted to be.

... and doing exactly that is one of the smartest, best decisions I've ever made. And fun fact: my career of helping men quit porn over the past 4+ years was inspired by what I did in that moment. I hired someone to help me quit. Because I'd already spent years trying, and just couldn't crack the code... and was tired of spinning my wheels. That helped me finally quit, and I've truly transformed into a different man since then.

Maybe something like that could help you too.

If you've been "quitting" just to relapse a bit later and go back to square one, and repeating that for a while like I was... I can show you how to quit for good and truly never go back over the next 60 days, so you can get out of that cycle and just move on into the lifestyle you deserve.

But soon this won't be nearly as accessible an option as it is currently, so I wouldn't wait.
