The simplest way to kill cravings

The simplest way to kill cravings

I realized something funny a few years back.

I tried to do so many complicated things to overcome urges.

Whether it was the urge for masturbation, to watch YouTube videos, or anything else, I often felt powerless or like what I was doing to overcome the urges was just too complicated. Doing pushups, long journal entries, going for walks, and all sorts of other crap that kinda worked but was super disruptive to my day.

Until one day it dawned on me.

Our brains can be tricked pretty easily.

Ever seen a kid who's crying miserably, and then their dad goes "Hey, look over there!" and the kid immediately gets distracted as his attention is pulled elsewhere, and boom, the temper tantrum comes to an end?

Basically I realized that even for adults, urges can function much like that.

If you can just learn how to become aware of when an urge is starting, and take your attention away from it, then like the kid stopping crying, your brain will also stop throwing its temper tantrum soon enough.

Food for thought on this Saturday morning.

It really can be that simple.

This technique I've developed, called Thought-Level Redirection, is just one of many in the suite of tools, tips, and exercises I teach to each of my 1-on-1 clients to help them quit porn for good in just a couple months... even if they've spent literally years trying and relapsing on repeat.

This work isn't for everyone.

It's certainly not for window-shoppers or the slightly curious.

Really, it's for a specific kind of guy who's tired of repeating the same old patterns and is ready to finally quit, no matter what it takes, and move on with his life... because he's starting to recognize just how much this poisonous vice has been stealing from him.
