Working smarter, not harder

Working smarter, not harder

One of the lessons my father taught me early was to "work smarter, not harder."

This would come through in little examples while working in the garage together, for example, where instead of brute-forcing the movement of some object... he'd find a fulcrum, a way to lever it, a way to make it easier.

And man, did that lesson* ever* sink in.

I became a master of working smarter.

One of the ways I did this was by learning to seek the help of people who were ahead of me in whatever process I wanted to put myself through. Instead of trying to brute-force my way through with my own will and experiences, I knew I could leverage those of other people instead, and that's probably the single smartest thing I've done to accelerate my progress in the domains that are most important to me; business, fitness, relationships, and sexual self mastery.

(The last of which is basically all of the others combined because it affects everything, but I digress for the moment.)

Which, frankly, was a big breakthrough for me.

Because I can be stubborn and thick-skulled as an Ox.

I can handle a whole lot of beating my head against the wall.

But just because my metaphorical skull has the fortitude necessary to take a beating doesn't make that the smartest way forward.

Glad I realized that, somewhere along the line, when I was trying to quit porn for literally years, and simply kept relapsing over and over no matter what I tried. Not everyone knows this, but eventually, I ended up reaching out to a coach for help because I was so distraught with my lack of progress. Imagine being between 2-3 years in to working on quitting porn every f**king day and still relapsing every 5ish days. How bad would that make you feel? Yeah, it was brutal.

And reaching out to him did 2 things:

Firstly, yes, it helped me actually quit nearly 5 years ago which I'll forever be grateful for.

And secondly, that's what helped inspire me down this line of work. Because I knew there were a lot of other men out there struggling like I was, who felt like they'd been trying everything and still just couldn't quit, and I felt a growing sense of meaning in being able to help them do what had once felt impossible to me too.

So over the past 4.5 years I've dedicated my entire career to helping men quit too.

And I ain't afraid to say that I've gotten pretty damn good at it.

All the testimonials speak for themselves.

So if you're the kind of guy who values working smarter, not harder, then I'd love to help you make a change that'll stick to you like glue.
