Our connection with God

Our connection with God

As my girlfriend and I shared a small prayer this morning, I had a nice little reflection.

Something simple but profound that's definitely worth sharing.

I feel so much more connected than I used to.

To myself.

To our relationship.

But also in my relationship with God.

I can't pretend that I know all the answers as to why this happens, but I'm about 99% sure that when we're struggling with a lot of bad habits in the form of pornography, drugs, alcohol, or whatever other addictive behaviors... it disconnects us from God.

Maybe not entirely.

And he obviously still loves us.

But I truly just didn't feel that flow, back when I was struggling with porn and weed and such, in the same way as I do currently. Not to mention the understanding that I just wasn't honoring myself or my own highest good.

It feels great to feel myself in integrity, aligned, and connected this way.

And I truly want more men to feel that alignment too.

Because it is profoundly satisfying.

And it's not just me.

Every time I've worked with men of faith to help them quit porn...

As in, literally every single time without fail...

They end up reporting the same exact thing. That they feel closer with God, feel better about themselves, and more connected in their intimate relationships too. And that sense of satisfaction that had previously been missing literally changes their entire experience of their day-to-day lives.

So if you haven't been taking quitting porn as seriously as maybe you should...

Well, there's one more good reason to do so.

And if you're ready to take it as seriously as possible to make sure you quit, stay quit, and never look back -- well, that's my specialty.
