When I was starting out on my journey of self-improvement where I'd decided it was time to walk a different path and finally turn my life into what I'd always envisioned it could be, I had really pure intentions.
Consciously.
But unconsciously there was a block.
Part of me didn't actually want to change.
Part of me was pretty darn happy just being a consumer instead of a creator. Watching porn instead of enjoying real intimacy to its fullest. Playing video games instead of learning skills that would make me more valuable. Relaxing instead of going to the gym.
And I was working on changing those habits.
But it always felt like I was pushing into some hidden resistance that I couldn't quite put my finger on.
This is what I realized:
That part of me that didn't want to change was buried deep in my subconscious mind, and it was blocking my growth. And I had to learn how to "talk" to it and modify its "programming" to finally create the deeper, identity-level shift that was required to truly move on into a whole different, better version of myself. Which wasn't an easy task. But I'll give you a pretty big hint...
A journal is one of the most incredible tools you can use for that work.
I know, sounds boring.
Maybe you think journaling is for teenage girls.
I used to too.
But it's a fact that a well-used journal, where you're using a few of the solid prompts and exercises, can create an extremely deep level of change within your psyche and the literal neurological wiring in your brain that lead to a deep, lasting, fundamental change in the way you think and operate.
So if you haven't done any journaling, here's your invitation to start.
Will share more about how to use it later.
But if you don't want to wait, and you've already wasted years of your life hooked on the soul-draining vice that is pornography, then let's talk about how we can help you quit for good with an identity-level change that literally never lets you go back to old ways.
