Ever seen that graphic depicting a baby elephant who's shackled to a single wooden stake in the ground? And as a baby, that stake and chain is plenty to keep him from moving.

Then he grows up into a full-sized elephant...

And he just stands there with the stake-and-chain attached to his ankle.

Despite weighing 1000s of pounds, despite having the ability to break that shackle any time and simply walk in a different direction... he doesn't. He just stands there. Because he's been conditioned to believe that he can't break the shackle for so long that it's just internalized.

People are kinda like this with their self-destructive patterns.

Truth is, if you don't believe you can, you wont.

You'll just stay stuck, like the elephant.

But you're capable of more than that.
