Your Secret Subconscious Saboteur
Devin McDermott
We're complicated creatures.
So complicated that many people will go their entire lives without understanding some of the major dynamics playing out within them every day.
And there's one in particular that causes so much frustration, pain, and misery in people's lives... and yet it goes unnoticed, operating "under the radar" and wreaking havoc.
Which is:
There's often a split between the conscious and subconscious minds, especially when it comes to habits that are particularly addictive and challenging.
More specifically:
It's entirely plausible and even probable that while your conscious mind wants to stop a certain behavior, whether that be booze or doomscrolling or porn... something in your subconscious doesn't want to stop, and continually sabotages your conscious intentions.
Let's zoom in on porn as an example.
For years I told myself that I wanted to quit, but then I'd make it a number of days or weeks clean just to end up relapsing again and again and again. It was miserably frustrating, and at the time, I couldn't understand why I kept losing control of myself and ending up back down that same old rabbithole when I desperately wanted to quit this shit and experience the kind of energy, confidence, and intimacy that I knew I should be capable of deep down. I had strong reasons to quit, but something inside me kept pushing me back into it.

Discover why willpower alone fails and what actually works for lasting freedom from porn addiction.
It wasn't until I realized the truth of this "conscious/unconscious divide" that things started making more sense.
Which is where the techniques I walk my clients through differ from any of the more conventional advice that everyone says help with quitting porn. Maybe they're right, but I was doing that stuff and was still stuck, so obviously something was missing.
What I learned how to do instead, and what I've spent years successfully teaching to hundreds of others across various programs, is this:
Interfacing with the subconscious mind. Learning how to identify the patterns inside the unconscious, how to have a conversation with the unconscious, and how to change those patterns using the conscious mind to create deep, neurological, physically real changes within the structure of the brain. Essentially, using neuroscience principles to go deep within the psyche and alter the neural pathways in a fundamental way that creates entirely healthier ways of thinking, acting, and being.
And once I unlocked that ability, things started falling into place for me.
My streaks got longer. My self-control improved. My confidence was skyrocketing. And it culminated in me successfully quitting nearly 5 years ago and experiencing everything I had been hoping to achieve thanks to the miraculous healing ability our brains possess for repairing the damage from even many years of abuse.
So if you've been trying the conventional advice and it's still not working, maybe you need a deeper approach.
Maybe it's time to do something different.
I have some space in my calendar to accept a handful of guys 1-on-1. But be warned, it's exclusively for guys who are at a turning point where they're truly tired of the same old shit and ready for the next chapter. Together we'll create a deep, subconscious-level change that naturally results in you leaving porn in the dust forever in just 60 days.
