Cliche old sage wisdom proves to be true
Devin McDermott
"The answers you seek are inside you," said the wise old sage from atop his mountain.
And this is often undeniably true.
Even when it comes to compulsive behaviors.
Sure, controlling and minimizing external influences can be helpful, and in fact, I recommend that you do.
But at the end of the day, the issue with external influences is the *way they interact with your internal world. *An external trigger causes a feeling within that feels like it can't be ignored, which cues a chain of events one thing leading to another until eventually, you're so far down that path that you've completely lost control again.
🧠 Rewiring Your Mind
Learn how changing your thoughts about porn through cognitive restructuring can break the automatic response patterns keeping you trapped.
This happens, for various people, with anything from wine to weed to netflix to porn.
But what if you could fortify your inner world?
So that you could have iron-clad self control over your impulses, seize back control of your thoughts at a moment's notice, and even reach a place of simple non-responsiveness to the cues that used to draw you in over and over?
It's possible, and it's what awaits the man who does the* *internal work.
You see, our thought patterns and habitual responses to things are exactly that - habitual.
Which means, like any other habits, they can be modified through conscious effort.
You can learn how to think and respond differently than before.
And therein shall lie your freedom.
I'll share more about how to make it happen in another message in the near future.
Download the BeFree App today and start the internal work that leads to true freedom.
